Do you know exactly what Malware is? Wikipedia describes Malware as follows:
“Malware is software designed to infiltrate or damage a computer system without the owner’s informed consent. It is a portmanteau of the words malicious and software. The expression is a general term used by computer professionals to mean a variety of forms of hostile, intrusive, or annoying software or program code.
Many normal computer users are however still unfamiliar with the term, and most never use it. Instead, “computer virus” is incorrectly used in common parlance and even in the media to describe all kinds of malware, though not all malware are viruses.”
Well, I’ll never use the term computer virus again, when I should use Malware! Anyway, Malware is a royal pain in the backside and I found another FREE useful program that can detect computer viruses Malware.
I have downloaded and used it, and it found 10 infections that my anti-virus program [Avast 4.8] did not detect. Nothing against Avast there, as no anti-virus program is 100% able to remove all infections.
Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware can detect and remove malware that even the most well known Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware applications on the market today can’t. Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware monitors every process and stops malicious processes before they even start.
